Fremantle

This place is all chilled-out, creative and open-minded. It has a port and also has a working class culture. This place is distinct from Perth, may be due to the hippies that came here about a couple of decades ago and still can be seen here and there on the streets on their old bicycles or the other reason could be the 20th century economic downfall made this retain its old and antique looking buildings, which again are exclusive to Fremantle only. This place is home to a lot of dancers, artists, and performers. There’s a lot to enjoy here too, ranging from big museums, artistic galleries, pubs with heavy music and the coffee culture. On the weekends, people leave their homes to the kids and go out partying load and hard.

The Whitsundays

Spread beautifully across the coral see, the 74 islands gel into strokes of aqua, crystal, indigo and Blue Ocean. Below is the bed of Great Barrier Reef, which helps keep away the thunderous waves or the fear of deadly sea creatures. Also the water here is perfect for sailing. When running on a budget, which is relatively small you don’t want to miss out the Whitehaven beach, it is the best of the whole flock with its pure white silica sand filling your toes. The Whitsunday islands offer you a range of accommodations form the cheaper ones at the Hook Island to luxurious one and the Hayman Island. Airlie beach is the coastal hub and most of the organized activities on the whole bunch of Whitsundays are taken place on this beach.

Hobart & Mona

12 km from Hobart’s city Centre, Mona is a peninsula extending itself to Derwent River. The three layered underground $75 million museum is described the owner philanthropist David Walsh as “A subversive adult Disneyland”.
